Knowing my strengths can help me recognize all of the good things and the bad things that make me in order to make me a successful individual in life.
I am a problem solver and find energy in helping make better a given difficult situation. I enjoy analyzing a situation to find out how to best come up with a solution, and I especially like to help with problems I have faced many times. I love bringing things back to life and saving the day, knowing very well the problem may have debilitated the person, place or thing affected. I resonate with this quality because I feel in a lot of ways I have many struggles and a heavy cross to bear so that I may be able to have the exposure and experience to the situation to be strong for someone else, so as to lift the weight of the world off of someone else's shoulders. This speaks true the the family I nanny for, I came at just the right time to save the day and restore the family to an even more glorious state of being, reflecting in me an ultimate feeling of satisfaction. I think this quality is so great because I want to be a rock, afterall Forest Gump lead a great life and said, "sometimes there just aren't enough rocks."
I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason and all in God's timing. I also believe that all of our spirits are in union with God's apart of something much greater than we could ever comprehend and that through a communal vision any chain of the worldly ways can be broken. The connective unconcious is a good way to articulate the way in which family and close friends create a incomparable happiness for each other, a true gift from our heavenly Father to help us always feel that we are not alone. I am considerate, caring and accepting of others because of the responsibility connectedness carries. Sensitive to the invisible hand of God I am able comfort others with the promises of a life to come.
I like to think and enjoy mental activity, stretching the brain in multiple directions. Although I like to think it doesn't always mean that I am getting tasks done efficiently but that I like to think about stuff. I enjoy time alone because it allows thinking and musing time. I am always posing questions to myself, making me my best companion. My thinking creates a mental hum within my head, which is one of my constants in life always allowing growth into my life in some form or another. I have always thought of myself as someone who loves a good piece of information for pondering and "think" of it as a great quality to have.
I am able to see the potential in everyone and thrive off helping a work in progress experience success. I devise interesting experiences in which I can see them grow. Signs of growth are both genuine and encouraging to me and people seek my help because they know their success truly matters to me. I recognize flow as the ability for others to overcome difficulties and realize it as realization of the individual's potential.
I am able to sense the emotions of those around me and am able to understand the way people feel. Through Intuition I am able to see the world through other's eyes and share their perspective. I find this trait to fit very nicely with all of my strengths and feel that in many ways they make a great set of skills. I dont necessarily feel pity for a person but am able empathize with them how they feel. I will also not condone someone but will simply take in and ponder on all that I have experienced.
Although I initially felt that I was more of a Judging Extravert, my results changed as I became more familiar with the specificities of each focus.
Based on my better understanding of the above strengths I understand that I get the most energy from within. A bit of food for thought and the inside of my brain can at most times be all I want and the most stimulating. Before I leaned toward Introversion I felt sure of Extraversion but I was just simply misinforned about Introversion. Ever since I accepted Introversion I have felt so much more in tune with myself and know that it is ok to dwell within in order to feel empowered, making me feel even more like an independent.
Intuition is another one of my focus results in which has helped me make sense of the sixth sense I have always felt but couln't pin point what it was about me as I would have considered myself a Senser. Being at Westmont has helped me connect with the special gift of intuition and has given a greater sense of key ideas such as Grace and Faith. I feel as though in many ways the sixth sense is a big part of who I am and it excites me know that.
As a Feeler I tend to make decisions based on personal values and feel for other individual's problems. Feelers have a more emotive quality making me tend to dwell there where I now realize can come off a bit too strong to the thinking individuals. Although I also like to think, my emotions can at times get the best of me in relational interactions.
I tend to lean more toward Perceiving or Adapting rather than Judging and Organizing because it makes me feel more independent and in control of life experiences. I don't like to feel restricted by the other's and their situations and it a lot of times comes off very flakey and inconsiderate.
