It was quit surprising what a hit rock painting at the park could be. All it took was a few moms getting together orchestrating the next play date. So I went for it! And decided to use some of the materials acquired through years of art making. It was such a great learning experience and everyone involved really helped bring the vision to life. so I got a plastic bin and filled it with assorted Acrylic paints. Be sure to include a good amount white (I didn’t have any) also for next time I would recommend acrylic pens for rock painting. I had some glitter and provided rocks which I ran out of and collected pine cones. We had extra paper plates, paper towels, whiles, brushes, paint palette, water cups, table cloth, artist schmock for kids and a tip jar with information on how to contribute. Everyone had such a great time I can’t wait for the next one. These creations make for beautiful stoop decoration.
